1. The Mission...
is to propagate the Good News of Yeshua Messiah to both Jew and Gentile in the MetroDetroit area. This includes providing
a spiritual atmosphere that enables a
mature expression of the Body of Messiah
to thus glorify God.
2. The Vision...
is to see every member grow in maturity
in Yeshua(Jesus) and to use his or her
gift in service to the body as well as the
outside world.
3. The Commitment...
which is expected of those who function within Congregation Beth Messiah:
a. That they are believers in Yeshua and
have been baptized into His body and received His Spirit.
b. That they accept Tanakh and B'rit Chadashah (Old and New Testament) as
the inspired Word of God and guideline
for daily living. They are commited to daily
Bible reading and prayer.
c. That they've been called by God to commit themselves to function as a family at Beth Messiah as a "local assembly".
d. That commitment involves regular attendance at Shabbat Services (and as much as possible- to the Holiday and mid-week services). This stems from Acts 2:42 "They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer."
